“Cancer isn’t a disease. It’s an industry.” After losing my beloved sister to this “industry” at the tender age of 39, I wanted to know more. I needed to know more. I had to have answers. As her medical power of attorney, and chief hand holder through the medical treatment process, I lived the “industry” with her, being herded like cattle through the system, until she took her last breath…. And what I’ve learned has changed the way I look at all of it.
Do you know you have the ability to prevent succumbing to this industry? It’s part of your design…
A little background info on me, I took several pre-med science classes in college which, along with battling a series of my own health issues, ignited a curiosity and passion for nutrition and health. I graduated with a bachelor of science degree and I am by no means a doctor, but shortly after college graduation I faced another series of events that led me even further down the wellness journey I am on today.
Post college, as young entrepreneurs, my husband and I were insurance-less and navigating the world of adult health issues and child expectancy. This was the beginning of a very big lesson about our healthcare system. Addressing medical expenses quickly became a street-side-peddler-like negotiation, reminiscent of our experiences in tropical tourist havens. Frustrated and overwhelmed, I chose to seek alternative solutions to our medical needs and am ever so grateful for it. It truly is a blessing to approach wellness naturally, and to witness the miraculous healing results.
The moral of my fortunate early adulthood experiences is this, read carefully: Traditional medicine is an opinion, and it’s only one opinion, not the only opinion, for health, wellness, prevention… treatment. And our bodies are designed to work with nature, not medicine.
I have addressed some of the nutritional healing and disease prevention aspects in my post The Optimal Nutrition Plan, and I cannot tell you enough how many times I have seen nutrition heal even the most chronic of illnesses.
More specifically, living the cancer industry, and losing both my Sister and my Dad at young ages because of it, I have done extensive research on proven natural cancer prevention solutions. From herbs and phytonutrients in foods and supplements to essential oils, physical fitness and yoga, I have read, and heard just about everything.
Knowing that cancer is running rampant and taking our loved ones left and right, I have been on a quest to protect my family from further, unnecessary loss.
One of the most comprehensive and well delivered resources I have found thus far, is Ty Bollinger’s The Truth About Cancer Documentary Series.
Never before had I heard medical professionals speak out about the regulations they must adhere to, regardless of research, evolution of science, or the introduction of alternatives. I personally witnessed the bias in the cancer industry and watching this documentary as it revealed what I felt was not only enlightening, affirming, and relieving… it was devastating.
Why? Why have so many people lost their lives unnecessarily when God designed us and our environment to prevent and fight these illnesses?
I threw myself a pity party. I cried. I shouted at the TV. At the lobbyists, at the the pharmaceutical companies that fund the medical education system and control the regulations.
I reminded God that He needed to do something about this just in case He hadn’t heard my demands as I watched my sister die. In those moments, God gently reminded me that I am perfectly capable of educating others, sharing my experiences and that doing so is exactly what it looks like to glorify Him with trials, losses, troubles… grief.
So hear I am. Telling you. Educate yourself. Know the truth before you are victimized by the disease and the industry. You have the power to prevent this from happening to you.
Together, we can stop the epidemic of cancer with wellness.
